We were so happy to return to the beautiful Brympton House during the Autumn to film Chris and Carson's wedding day. This place is most definitely up their as being one of our favourite venues to film at in Somerset and during the Autumn time it really is special. Those colours are something else!
These two travelled over 5,000 miles to get married at Brympton House in Somerset. Chris is originally from the UK but now lives in Los Angeles with Carson. After much debate, they choose to get married in the UK instead of America and we are so thankful they choose us to capture there special day.
Chris and Carson had the most amazing speeches and personal vows. We were blessed with gorgeous light on a beautiful sunny Autumn day. A massive congratulations to the very lovely Carson and Chris. You guys are awesome!
How they met one another (in Chris's words)
We met playing football (aka soccer) in New York City, where we both lived at the time. Quickly fell in love with the backdrop of New York. A little over two years after meeting, we moved to Los Angeles - but rather than fly, we took a 10 day/4000 mile road trip across the country to Los Angeles with everything we owned in the back of a car. While we had been excited about the experience, we had no idea what an incredible life-changing adventure it would be. As a result, I planned the proposal around a second road trip, this time up the Pacific Coast Highway to Portland, Oregon. I found a bay on the Pacific Coast suggested as a possible alternative location Sir Francis Drake became the first Englishman to set foot on America's West Coast.
Wedding Film Review
My wife and I felt compelled to leave a glowing review simply due to the outstanding quality of our wedding film from Storybox. We are absolutely over the moon with the end result, and it captured our day in a way that nothing else could.
We elected to go with the shorter highlight film, but, after watching the highlight film several thousand times in a short space of time, will definitely be ordering the longer version for our first anniversary!
The Storybox team were fantastic, proactive, easy to work with and critically had a clear vision for certain shots that really made the final film as spectacular as it was. They also didn't complain when our speeches ended up running way over the estimated time we had allocated for them!
Thank you again, the feedback everyone has given us has been incredible. We were so lucky to have you guys there and will be proactively encouraging friends to choose Storybox for their own weddings! Stunning wedding cinematography, wonderful editing, brilliant people and such a perfect final product!
