Back in the spring, we kicked off our wedding season with Jay and Rach’s wedding at the amazing Coombe Lodge. The wedding venue is nestled at the foot of the Mendip Hills, within the North Somerset & Bristol area; Coombe Lodge has breath-taking views across the Chew Valley and plenty of grounds to wander around which is always useful when you want to get a variety of shots of the Bride & Groom with different backdrops.
Interestingly this was our first time at Coombe Lodge which is a wedding venue relatively local to us. We knew it was only a matter of time until we would have the pleasure of filming a wedding there and the place didn’t disappoint.
The ceremony took place at the All Saints Church, Long Ashton, Bristol. As the Father of the Bride gave his speech it was touching to discover that it was, in fact, the same church that he got married at many moons ago. During his speech, he mentions how he never thought he’d walk down the aisle again of All Saints Church, but he felt just as proud today as the first time around.
Great speeches really do add so much to our style of filming and editing wedding videos. And on this occasion, they didn’t disappoint. Jay’s speech was perfect! The battle to hold back the tears only added to the moving words he spoke about friends, family, and wife. The speech gets us every time!
We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day to start our wedding season. Thank you both for a wonderful wedding, keep on being happy and full of energy. We loved every minute!

This is far too long overdue but I just wanted to say thank you for everything. What you created for us surpassed all our (admittedly high) expectations and you’ve given us something we can treasure forever. You captured the day beautifully and it was an absolute pleasure to have you there.
As well as the day itself you have been brilliant through the whole editing process and thank you for providing the occasional image to keep us going while we waited for it!
The video itself is incredible. I must admit I was skeptical about what videographers would offer on top of the photography, but watching everything back brings a sense of emotion you just can’t capture in a still, it’s remembering the words you spoke and how you felt in those moments that on a day like that otherwise just become a blur. To anyone who is even remotely considering having a wedding videographer, you will not be disappointed and we honestly cannot recommend James & Kylie any more highly. In retrospect, it was one of the best decisions we made.
