Wow, first blog post in ages! As you can imagine we’ve been extremely busy filming weddings this summer across Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, Hampshire, and even London! As great as it's been filming these weddings all over the place, it has meant it's been difficult for us to keep our website and social media pages up to date as much as we’d like to. The good news is we’re back and we’ll be sharing some amazing weddings with you guys over the next couple of months.
To start it all off again, we have Garry and Samantha’s wedding video we filmed in Plymouth, Devon at Boringdon Park Golf Club which is on top of a hill overlooking River Plym in the distance. The location of the venue meant a lot to Garry and Samantha because of the views across Plymouth reminded them of all the memories they’ve both made growing up there.
Firstly, it was great for us to be in Devon filming a wedding as it’s a place both Kylie and I love and enjoy visiting. Garry and Samantha’s wedding day was full of laughter and a lot of fun, especially when it came to the dreaded speeches. As Garry mentions at the beginning of the film, he spent until 03:00 am in the morning getting hammered with his friends and didn’t write a speech, instead, he wrote some bullet points at 07:00 am (Brave Man). Considering the lack of planning we think he did a pretty damn good job! The whole room seemed to love it and couldn’t stop laughing, plus it made editing the wedding film very entertaining for me.
As I’ve mentioned many other times in these wedding video blog posts, it really is a joy and pleasure to film people's wedding day and create a wedding video they will hopefully love and treasure. It’s always fascinating filming a wedding as every wedding is so different, and you immerse yourself in the day and the editing of the film so much that you can’t help but learn a little about the couple and what they stand for.
Garry and Samantha’s wedding day reflects the kind of couple they are; they value their family and friends greatly and live life to its absolute fullest. We had great fun filming your day and wish you both all the best for the future!

Kylie and James were amazing at our wedding day. We love our video which summarised our wedding perfectly and we couldn’t have asked James and Kylie for more. They worked tirelessly and even reshot moments missed by the hungover husband! Both were so professional and the finished product was flawless. I couldn’t recommend highly enough what a wonderful couple and videographers they are! It is truly great value for unforgettable memories we can watch and relive. Thank you.
